Overview

The Journal of Asia Pacific Aesthetic Sciences (JAPA) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, fully online journal. The scope of the journal includes all aspects of medical sciences, particularly in aesthetic medicine, aesthetic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, pharmaceuticals/ cosmeceuticals, and regenerative medicine. Published three times a year, JAPA supports continuing professional development and serves as a platform for sharing scientific research and innovative techniques. The editorial board  of JAPA comprises internationally recognized clinicians and scientists worldwide.

Aims
  • JAPA aims to bridge the gap between aesthetic sciences and clinical practice, advocating the importance of evidence-based science, particularly in the field of aesthetic medicine.

  • JAPA publishes not only novel findings or breakthrough scientific research but also research related to the efficacy of end-products, especially in the realm of cosmeceuticals and wellness products.

  • Serving as a multifaceted platform, JAPA disseminates innovative discoveries and pioneering scientific research, thereby extending its scope to include research inquiries and investigations concerning the development, efficacy, and impact of cosmeceuticals and wellness products.
